June's Verse of Encouragement 2016 + Free Printable

6:00:00 PM

As I mentioned in one of last month's blog posts, I have written a verse of encouragement in my planner for each month this year. If you missed last month's verse, you can check it out here!

This month's verse is Deuteronomy 31:8.

"The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."

I'm still amazed each month when I flip through my planner and read the new verse. I didn't pick these verses for any reason other than encouragement and I didn't place them with any month for any reason either. However, God always knows just what to do.

Each month, I find myself praying for answers. Hoping that my doctors will finally figure out what is wrong, so I can receive that last diagnosis and begin treatment. I learned last week that one of my doctors believes that one of my other doctors made a mistake. They think that I might possibly have been misdiagnosed and that we may have ruled out MS too early.

The news sent me into a bit of a spiral and I haven't been coping with it very well. I've been praying when I remember to, but ultimately I know that I should be praying more. I'm thankful that I started this series in January because even though I haven't found a church here, I am still able to stay accountable and connected to the word of God.

It can be incredibly difficult to put your trust in someone you haven't met and your faith in a plan you don't know, but I have to. I know that He is there for me and with me and I shouldn't be afraid. Of course I am, but I'm trying my best not to be. I really am working on letting things go, including my anxieties; however, that is easier said than done.

I really did need this reminder and I'm sure I'll feel the same way next month too. I really enjoy creating these digital printables and I hope that they are doing some good for some of you. I know that for me, it helps having the gentle reminder through artwork that God is there for me. I also know how easy it is to look over something we see every day, so it's good to mix it up each month.

Anyways, for those of you that need this reminder, or are simply looking for new art to hang on your walls, I have created a beautiful printout of this verse that I'd love to share with you! I hope that this verse brings comfort to you and really resonates in your heart!

*Please keep in mind that there will be a white border when printing, unless you have a borderless printer. This printable is available for personal use only!*

  1. Being told you might have been misdiagnosed can throw you for a loop. Praying for the doctor's wisdom in a correct diagnosis and the best treatment plan for you!

    1. You are definitely right Kim! Finding out that we could scratch MS off of the list seemed like the best news we could hear. So, finding out a few months later that we may have been wrong is hard. I was able to schedule an earlier appointment with my rheumatologist for July 29th. I'm hoping that she'll agree to order MRI's for me and that will lead to a treatment plan. *Fingers crossed*
