Now I don't know about you, but I've never really been too materialistic. As I've grown up, I've realized what's truly important in my life and that just isn't gifts for me. Just as my love language suggests, I'd much rather receive acts of service than gifts any time. As some of you know, I've been using Blogging for Books for a couple months now. I absolutely love reading, so it's nice to get a free book every once in a while :)

Over the course of the last few months, I've had an interesting experience to say the least. I mostly joined because I wanted to get a copy of one of Mindy Kaling's books, but there weren't any available by the time that I signed up.

Nevertheless, I looked around the available books and picked a couple out! Since then, I've reviewed The Little Paris Bookshop, Approval Junkie, and June. The first one I loved, but I can't truly say the same about the others. That was until, I got my hands on a copy of The Sun Is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon!

After having another great experience with Blogging for Books, I decided to take a look at what they had to offer and that's how I ended up with Open When: Letters to Lift Your Spirits by Karen Salmansohn! I had always been intrigued by the "open when" letters on Pinterest, so I thought I might like this one too!
