Review
First off, I'd just like to say that I absolutely LOVE The Shinn Life's packaging! So much so, that I wish I could go back to my jewelry making days and repackage every single one of my products!

Not only does The Shinn Life use beautifully decorated bubble mailers for each package, but their individual product packaging is to die for! Plus, the "signature Shinn Life boxes" are perfect for gift giving too! Each one is wrapped in a sparkly ribbon and hand sealed with wax; there's also a business card in the lid of each box too!


Enough about the packaging though, the Shinn Life products are just as glamorous! After giving Brittany and idea of my preferences, she was sweet enough to send me a few different products: 12mm Classic Rose Gold w/ Silver Crown Bezel Earrings, 12mm Classic Rose Gold in Silver Bezel w/ 18" Chain Necklace, and a Silver Adjustable Filligree Ring w/ 8mm Silver Faux Druzy Stone.

The first thing that I tried on was the ring. I had fallen in love with it over Instagram and I just knew I had to have it! A believe it or not, it was even prettier in person! Unfortunately, it just didn't look right on my fingers. Due to Lupus, my joints tend to swell and it just made the ring look unnatural on my hand. So I'm sad that it didn't work out, but the ring is beautiful regardless!

Next up was the rose gold jewelry set! I let Brittany know that I love silver jewelry with neutral colored accents and that's exactly what she sent me! Normally, I wouldn't purchase rose gold druzy stones for myself, but I'm so glad that she picked them for me! I know for a fact I won't have any problem finding something to wear these with!


As for the product quality, I've got to say that The Shinn Life does a great job with quality control! Each piece looks sturdy and like it would continue to wear well over time. And just to be sure, Brittany even included a polishing cloth in the package along with a simple note: "since the earrings are silver plated, they may start to tarnish after regular use. Just use this polishing cloth to brighten them back up."

Truthfully, I don't think I have anything bad to say about any of the products I've received. The only thing I would suggest changing would be the size of the lobster clasp on the necklace, but that isn't even that big of a deal. I mostly just enjoy necklaces with larger clasps because my long nails tend to get in the way. Other than that though, everything I received was pretty damn perfect!

Overall, I would highly recommend shopping with The Shinn Life! As someone that's had her own handmade jewelry shop, I think that this is a wonderful business, with a great passion, and beautiful products! The Shinn Life strives for creating gorgeous pieces without the luxury price tag and I think they've succeeded!
